Summer Wedding Photography at the Sunset Hill House in Sugar Hill, NH, with Amanda and Dan

The Sunset Hill House in Sugar Hill, NH, holds a very special place in my heart. It was the first time I photographed a wedding in that part of the White Mountains, it introduced me to the lupine flower season, and it was the first time I used the Fujifilm camera system. When Amanda and Dan asked me to photograph their big day, I said yes and could not wait to capture their big day!

It truly is a wonderful, charming venue. The staff are amazing, it’s an old White Mountains hotel which holds a lot of charm and history, and the views are incredible! The staff was on point, seeing that it rained part of the day and they were able to handle the weather like true pros, not missing any beats!

And - of course - Amanda and Dan are just a super-awesome couple. They are down to earth, easy going and joyfully rolled with the weather. Their family and friends knew how to party rain or shine - quite literally! When the rain cleared, they simply conga-line danced outside and continued the party!

Below are just a handful of photos we took that day. If you’re planning your wedding and need a photographer, reach out to me soon, dates are booking fast!
