This past Christmas, I had the honor of photographing Pilar and John’s engagement photo session in Boston. We made a day of it, having adventures on Rose Wharf, the Greenway Carousel, made a quick stop at the Omni Parker Hotel and back towards the North End, ending our trek at the blue archway! It was a magical time that was the perfect bookend to a wonderful year!
Fall in New England is a very lovely time of year, but when it rains, things can seem a little damp… no pun intended. But When you embrace the bad weather, it becomes something more! It becomes art! This is what happened when I had the chance to photograph Jessica and Eric’s amazing wedding at the Atkinson Country Club!
York, Maine, is a wonderful place. Rain or shine, it’s full of old New England history and charm. It was great to be back when Lia and Max asked me to photograph their wedding at Stage Neck Inn. The seacoast venue is absolutely amazing, situated right on the rocky cliffs giving everyone a great view of the ocean and coastline.

Not quite in the White Mountains, yet still a lovely mountain range with amazing views and full of New England charm, Pats Peak is a venue that is a cut above the rest! It’s a place that has a rustic feel as well as a Swiss chalet vibe. And it’s by far one of the best wedding venues! When Laura and Matt asked me to be their wedding photographer, I said yes!

Seacoast weddings in Maine are amazing. You have the beauty of the ocean as well as the old New England charm. York is rife with all of that! When I was asked to photograph Jeremy and Becca’s big day at the York Harbor Inn, I jumped at the opportunity.
I have a soft spot for rustic weddings. I love them! They are so much fun and the scenery is amazing! When Ben and Aimee asked me to be their photographer for their wedding in Wolfeboro, NH, in the New Hampshire lakes region, I jumped at the opportunity. It’s the best of all worlds. Lovely mountains, gorgeous lakes, and a campground with rustic charm for miles!
The Sunset Hill House in Sugar Hill, NH, holds a very special place in my heart. It was the first time I photographed a wedding in that part of the White Mountains, it introduced me to the lupine flower season, and it was the first time I used the Fujifilm camera system. When Amanda and Dan asked me to photograph their big day, I said yes and could not wait to capture their big day!
Weddings are interesting there is a ton of planning that goes into making one of the best parties in your life, but the one thing that cannot be controlled is the weather. This is where an amazing venue shines. Karin and Steve asked me to photograph their big day at Locke Falls Farm in Tamworth, NH. I love that venue for its scenery in the White Mountains, its rustic charm… on this wedding day it rained heavily and the amazing staff shined! The wedding was fun, emotional and it was a celebration to remember!
Weddings by the ocean are amazing and unpredictable. The weather can change from storm to sunshine and back again in quick succession. And the tides can change your setting on a whim. With all of that in play, Julianne and Ben’s wedding embraced all of that and it made for an epic day at the Blue Ocean Event Center in Salisbury, MA.
Southern New Hampshire has amazing venues that reflect old, colonial charm as well as amazing natural landscapes. All of this made Adelina and Matthew’s wedding day gorgeous and memorable! With a ceremony at the historical Saint Anselm College’s abbey followed by a lovely reception at The Gardens at Uncanoonuc Mountain, their wedding day had the best of what makes New Hampshire special.
The Atkinson Country Club is one of the venues that I frequently photograph at. I think it’s a testament to their popularity in fair price, great service to the wedding couple and amazing atmosphere! It was a pleasure to once again photograph an amazing couple at this tried and true venue!
The White Mountains in New Hampshire are gorgeous and always worth visiting during any time of year. But there is a very special, 3 week period, where it’s extra special. The lupines come to full bloom around the Father’s Day time in June and places like Sugar Hill have massive fields of purple and pink. This is something Laura and Matt hoped for in their engagement sessions. I was able to help them nail this timing. The results - I feel - speak for themself.
Venues usually make for amazing wedding receptions, but one venue that’s often overlooked is your own backyard. Anne Marie and Denis turned their home into an amazing venue in Southern New Hampshire! It was a gorgeous day for a wedding and wedding photography!
Vermont in the summer is absolutely stunning with the rolling hills, the gorgeous greenery and the quiet, charming towns make for welcoming visits. It’s no wonder why so many couples choose to get married here. The Old Lantern Inn and Barn is one venue that blends the rustic style with great service and elegance. It was a great place for a reception right after a lovely ceremony in Middlebury.
Downtown Boston is a great place. It’s a mix of history and the modern mixed with lively activity for everyone to enjoy. It was made even better when I had the opportunity to photograph Ariel and Justin’s big day at the historic XV Beacon hotel. The amazing wine cellar, their scenic roof deck and the overall architecture - it made for an epic wedding day!
Wineries in New England are stunning - it’s a combination of old rustic charm and elegance! In the summer, the greenery and the views are a marvel, making for a great setting to celebrate a wedding! It’s perfect for portraits, candid moments, and most of all, the wine is already there for everyone!
The White Mountains in New Hampshire are absolutely magical. Add a wedding to your stay and it makes for an enchanting celebration! I had the opportunity to photograph an amazing couple who were exchanging vows in their Jewish wedding tradition as well as some new with the rustic setting. It made for an amazing day!
The wineries in Massachusetts are some of the finest in New England. Their spirits and settings simply make them the perfect place for a wedding where you are never far from the official drink of celebrations! Below is Brittany and Tarig’s wedding at the Nashoba Valley Winery one summer day. The weather was perfect, the guests, family and friends were ready to party. And the couple, absolutely amazing, fun and down to earth!
I love rustic weddings. They are charming, welcoming and when your wedding is in Northern Maine, the scenery is absolutely outstanding! The mountains and lakes make for a great setting that is beautiful and refreshing. And come summertime, that is a must-have to beat the heat.
Southern NH - much like its Northern counterpart - is stunning in the fall with the addition of old New England charm. Last year I spent a good amount of time photographing at the Granite Rose. It’s a venue with all the charm, ballroom elegance and natural beauty all in one. When Ryan and Brianna asked me to photograph their big day, I gladly said yes!
Engagement sessions are a lot of fun. It’s a great way to break the ice with wedding couples and get to take great photos and have a laugh. When Amanda and Dan asked to have their session up in the White Mountains, I jumped at that chance! And what a view they picked - at the top of Artist’s Bluff in Franconia Notch!
Summers in the White Mountains are amazing. The heat is a little less, the breeze is amazing, and no one does it better than the Mountain View Grand Resort in Whitefield, NH. It is the balance between elegance, nature and rustic charm. And that is why I loved photographing Hannah and Orren’s big day!
All weddings have a magic that is all their own. From the biggest, grandest events to the smallest, there is a heart-warming magic that oversees all. The Butterfly Place is a wonderful butterfly sanctuary that is perfect for the smaller events. And when I was asked to photograph Julie and Prabhat’s wedding, I immediately said yes!
There is something extra magical when a wedding comes right before Christmas. I think it’s because everyone is already in the mood to party, it’s a festive time of year. Add to that the amazing love and fun from Maddie and John and you have yourself one kick-ass wedding day! They had their festivities at the Castleton Banquet Hall in Windham, NH and it was off the hook fun!
There are a great many converted barns that are lovely venues in New England, but nothing beats the real rustic barn setting on a real farm! The feeling is rugged and charming, the celebrating is less formal but more intense! In Southern New Hampshire I got to photograph Kaitlyn and Tom’s big day where they decorated better than any upscale venue and threw an amazing wedding reception - it was one of the best!
Seaside scapes are so very beautiful in New England. They can be anything - forests, sandy - both! When Nick and Malorey asked me to photograph their wedding day at the Linekin Bay Resort this passed Fall, I jumped at the chance to visit upstate Maine. The ocean views are absolutely stunning. The tall pines and changing leaves mixed colorfully with the rocky and sandy shores.
